Northern Brookhaven Toastmasters

Originally chartered in 1959, Northern Brookhaven is the oldest club operating on Long Island. Our meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month on the campus of Stony Brook University.

Please feel free to attend one of our meetings as a guest. Our members represent professions such as, Financial, Healthcare, Education and others. Our different backgrounds, abilities and goals all help to add diversification to the meeting. Our common desire to improve our speaking skills by joining a group of like minded people is what makes it work. Join us for a meeting and try something new. It may just be what you need to attain your goals.

Toastmaster dues are $54 per year. This is prorated if you join in midyear. The dues are also collected twice yearly.

There is a one time fee for materials. This is $20 and it includes your speech and competent leader manual, Toastmaster magazine subscription and other materials to help you become a more confident speaker.

At this time there are no club dues.

We are an open community club. This means that we have no membership requirements. The only thing we ask is that you attend our meetings ready for an enjoyable learning experience.
